HUMANS

Thanks to photography and my passion for portraits, I was able to get to know and immerse myself,
even if only briefly, in the lives of my subjects, who otherwise would have only passed me by.
During my travels, when it comes to portraits, I always look for a post-shot approach. Once I have chosen the scene I always try to be invisible. My goal is not to "contaminate", not to interfere with the scene until I am satisfied with the results, at that point and only at that point I approach the subject of the shots by introducing myself and revealing my shots, and it is exactly in that moment, that very often something wonderful happens.
The awe and wonder caused by this unexpected surprise crumbles shyness and difference, people tend to open up and curiosity becomes mutual. Short relationships were born from a simple photograph. I found myself spending time with the people I captured in my photos, sometimes a few minutes other times hours, chatting, laughing and joking. And over time, these myriad of stories are the memories that most characterise a place I visited.
